National Congress
The Annual Congress of Subud Britain is the supreme governing body of Subud Britain. The Congress is open to all members of Subud, but under its constitution those entitled to vote at congress are limited to the chairpersons of each of the fifty-plus groups, the chairpersons of each of the eight regions, and the national chairperson, who has a vote and a casting vote.
The congress is usually a weeklong event; it includes exhibitions, presentations and workshops, with the organisational business taking up three days and incorporating the formal Annual General Meeting of Subud Britain, the registered charity. The AGM of Susila Dharma (Britain), a sister charity, is also held at the congress, following the AGM of Subud Britain.
