About National Council

The national council of Subud Britain has the role of managing the affairs of Subud in England, Scotland and Wales between congresses, and usually meets four times a year, including once at congress.

In its full format the council comprises the national chair, national executive committee and three representatives from each of the eight regions (the regional chairs / trustees and male and female national helpers). Representatives of each of the Wings of Subud may also be present at meetings from time to time. The council is responsible on one hand for representing the wishes and views of the wider Subud membership in Britain and on the other has a stewardship role of safeguarding the assets and interests of the organisation.
