Subud Youth Association (SYA) Britain

The Subud Youth Association was founded in 1983 with the aim of allowing young people in Subud to plan their own activities and to help young Subud members network with one another. The Subud Youth Association aims to:

• Provide the environment and support to encourage young and newly-opened members to comfortably and fully participate in Subud, and to support and encourage young Subud members to take the initiative in organizing activities that welcome all people.

• Acknowledge SYA's role in reaching out to Subud's young members; and also to value the need for teenagers and young adults to be together.

• Affirm the importance of fun, spirited interactions and gatherings, through which we percolate the infectiousness of our love for each other and for Subud, and though which we feel comfortable.

The current aims of SYA (Britain) are to provide regular get-togethers for Subud youth in Britain, to aid communication and organise fun activities and events.
